ExxonMobil Awards $15,000 for Hydrologic Environmental Research

ExxonMobil has awarded $15,000 in a grant to support hydrologic environmental research in the Colorado School of Mines Department of Geology and Geological Engineering. The Colorado School of Mines Department of Geology and Geological Engineering has used previous ExxonMobil grants to support PhD students and laboratory expenses for investigations including remediation of multiphase contamination, behavior and remediation of mixtures of metals with organic wastes, and improved understanding of fracture flow. ExxonMobil supports programs that foster scientific research on important environmental issues, encourage public discussion on environmental policy and preserve endangered species and habitats.
