US Students Abroad

CSM encourages students to include an international experience in their undergraduate or graduate education. In most instances, this would occur in either the second or third year of studies.

Students who wish to study overseas should start planning during the freshman year. If study will take place in a non-English speaking country, students should evaluate their language skills, and if appropriate, enroll in language courses.

All education abroad is closely coordinated with the student's academic advisor and department. Courses approved in advance are accepted for transfer to CSM, provided the student achieves a grade of "C" or better.

Why should you study overseas?
