The main entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park is in Estes Park, about 60 miles north of Golden.

Baseball. The Colorado Rockies play at Coors Field in downtown Denver. For the week of the conference, they are playing the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday and Tuesday at 7:05pm, and on Wednesday afternoon at 1:05 pm. Tickets will be available on the gate.
Beer. There are two breweries in Golden. One is the giant Coors brewery; free guided tours are available. The other is the tiny Golden City Brewery, located on Cheyenne Street between 11th and 12th.
