Research Interest

Petroleum economics, reserve management, portfolio management tools, decision analysis.

 

 

Following the completion of his dissertation, he joined Atlantic Richfield research center to work on flow problems at Prudhoe Bay and in the Trans-Alaska pipeline.  Other research topics he has published on include miscible gas flooding and hydrocarbon thermodynamics.  He joined Mobil Research and Development Corporation near the completion of his MBA in finance and strategy at  Southern Methodist University.  At Mobil he was Upstream R&D Planning Manager and later the Valuation and Economics advisor to the  E&P Division. He is an active practitioner and author in investment risk management issues for the oil and gas industry.
