Reporting Suspected Improper Activities
The Colorado School of Mines faculty and staff are held to the highest standards of personal integrity and honesty (Faculty Handbook Section 6.2.3.A.) and CSM employees are required to "expose corruption in State government whenever discovered" (Handbook Section 6.2.3.A.). The State of Colorado Employees' Handbook (Section I.D.1) prohibits the use of state time, property, equipment or supplies for private purposes or any other purpose not in the interest of the State of Colorado. Activities or conduct in violation of these policies should be reported to CSM's administration or management immediately.
If you have reasonable questions or concerns regarding possible inappropriate activities or conduct, or have reason to believe such activity or conduct has occurred or is occurring, please contact the Office of Internal Audit as soon as possible.
