How do I apply for financial assistance?
Awarding
of all fellowships and assistantships is handled by the academic
departments in conjunction with the admissions review process.
Since competition for financial support is high, new students
are encouraged to apply for admission early. The Application
for Admission includes a section regarding financial support.
Students applying for Fall admission should submit their COMPLETE
application packet by January 1 for priority consideration.
Notification of financial awards is usually done at the time
of admission notification.
The Graduate
Office does not award funding. If you have questions regarding
a specific award or whether or not funds are still available,
you must contact the academic department to which you are applying.
To apply
for student loans you must contact the Financial
Aid Office.
