Volpi named Mines Vice President


GOLDEN, Colo. , Jan. 26, 2007 –Kirsten Volpi was recently named vice president for finance and administration at Colorado School of Mines. She also will serve as the school's chief financial officer and treasurer of the Mines Board of Trustees.

Volpi, who joined Mines in 2005, previously served as associate vice president for finance and operations and controller.

Volpi will oversee the consolidation of all financial activities and reporting on campus.
