Student Development and Academic Services
Student success is of primary focus in the Mines community. Academically, every student enrolled at Mines can graduate from Mines. Student Development and Academic Services assures this, providing services that support the educational mission of the university and guiding our students as they make independent decisions in this new environment. In particular, we offer services that assist students in meeting the unique challenges of a premiere engineering university.
These services include:
- CSM 101 (our first-year academic success and advising program)
- Free tutoring and academic excellence workshops
- Services for students with disabilities
- Professional mental health counseling for students
