Cockburn, Debora (Debbie) Debbie Cockburn is the Program Assistant in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering. Her position entails assisting the Department head with projects, personnel, scheduling appointments, research, along with other tasks that may arise. She is also responsible for departmental purchasing, accounting, contract preparation, and assisting students, staff, and professors. Debbie has been with Colorado School of Mines since 1986 and has been a classified employee since 1989. She was a domestic goddess prior to joining the CSM community. Before becoming a goddess, she worked in secretarial positions in the legal, finance, and oil and gas businesses. Geology
