Administrative Faculty Council
On May 5, 1994, the exempt, administrative employees of the Colorado School of Mines organized themselves as the CSM Administrative Faculty and established the CSM Administrative Faculty Council (AFC). The AFC was organized to serve as the representative body of the Administrative Faculty in the specific areas delineated in the Bylaws and to actively participate in such policy matters of CSM which may affect or be of interest to the Administrative Faculty. The AFC shall, in order to promote the welfare of CSM and its constituents, act as an advisory body to the CSM Administration, provide information and advice to its constituents, and act as a liaison to the CSM Faculty Senate, the Association Of Classified Employees - ACE, and such other employee representative groups as may gain official recognition by CSM.

Athletics & AFC Golf Tournamnet
West Woods Golf Course ~ Arvada

It was a great day filled with golf, good food, prizes, fun and great company. And all for a wonderful cause - to raise money for Athletics programs and the Family of Mines Scholarship fund. We had 24 teams signed up to play this year, over 65 raffle prizes, and some very generous people who supported this event in a variety of ways. Thanks you. We hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time!

We had a fantastic group (about 40 people in all) who came to celebrate the end of a great year. We enjoyed great appetizers, drinks, and wonderful company. Thank you to everyone who came and we hope you had a wonderful time!

58 AFC members RSVP'ed to this event. We had a presentation by Chief Turney on Campus Safety Issues. We spent some time recognizing new AFC members, giving years of service certificates, and thanking our outgoing AFC Board Members (Jahi, Dan Lewis, and Linn). We also mentioned the Family of Mines Scholarship recipieints. And we presented the Connected Learning Community Award to Andrea Salazar. A great lunch and hopefully a good time was had by all.
