My current work at Mines (my job mutates periodically) consists of two
things:
I help students, faculty and staff in using CSM computing and network
resources. We get lots of questions (asked via email, telephone,
or in person) covering all aspects of our operations. CSM's "trouble"
response group received and sent about 6200 email messages during the
1995 academic year.
I also maintain machines and software; both UNIX workstations (IBM RS6000s
and, more recently, SGIs) and Macintoshes.
