Our research interests focus on nanostructured thin films and materials for sustainable energy applications including thin film solar cells, catalytic membrane reactors, smart windows, and solid state batteries. Welcome to 2024! The latest news:

* Ended 2023 with the honor of hooding Rok at commencement. Kevin (PhD) and Adam (MS) formally graduated in abstentia as they could not get away from their careers in Berlin and Montana.

 

 

 

 

 

 

* In addition, congratulations to Sean for finishing his BS degree in 3 & 1/2 years (he will walk in Spring), and formally transitioning to the thesis MS program where he will continue developing earth abundant catalysts for ammonia decomposition.

* Welcome to Ben Ivie, a PhD candidate in the Advanced Energy Systems program who will be working on scalable, low-cost hydrogen delivery systems, our latest DOE award.

* On a personal note congratulations to Saeed on his engagement to Janna (ceremony this summer)
