Recent PhD graduate Mike Seman was honored with a graduate student research award at the 54th International Symposium of the American Vacuum Society, which was held in October in Seattle. Mike was honored for his work in developing pulsed plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition for self-limiting growth of metal oxides. Mike was awarded a generous cash prize as well as a travel stipend to attend and present his results at the meeting.
