Member of the Organizing Committee, and Public Relations officer for an upcoming conference on Geographies of the Euro-Arab Encounter: Past, Present, and Future .  It will be held on 4-7 October 2001 at the Foundation of International Studies, University of Malta, Valletta, Malta.   This conference is led by The Arab World Geographer / Le Gographe du Monde Arabe (AWG), and in sponsored by The Ministry of Cultural  Affairs (France),  International Geographical Union, and the European Mediterranean Network for the Social Sciences (EUMENESS) in Malta.
