CLIMATE CHANGE: OCEAN SHORE EVIDENCE
Changes in ocean shore lines can be identified by
sedimentary deposits. Shore line positions changes in
response to three climate relates processes: changes in the
amount of water present in glaciers; changes in ocean
volume due to temperature change (relatively minor); changes
in the relative position of land masses in response the
weight of glaciers on them.
