Mound G is the highest structure in a group of platform pyramids (sometimes called the ‘Vértice Geodésioc because of its use as a bench mark in early maps of the Oaxaca region) located to the northeast of the Patio Hundito on the North Platform. Excavation revealed a burial containing Monte Albán II pottery suggesting that construction dates to this phase.
