Health Assessment and Real-time Prediction
This research is intended to develop an embedded intelligent monitoring system
which can observe the health condition of equipment while it is in service, and
notify operations and management personnel when there is a need to take the equipment
off-line for maintenance or repair before there are any failures. This is an on-line
real-time version of the work typically referred to as predictive maintenance.
We have had contracts with Sandia National Laboratories.
