Click on the Catalyst selection on the Arthur Lakes Library web page. |
 | Click on the My Account button. |
 |
Fill in your 8-digit
Campus-Wide ID and last name. |
 |
Your record will appear. The record's five sections are: 1) Personal Information;
2) Patron Blocks; 3) Charged (checked out) Items;
4) Requested Items; 5) Fines and Fees (you may owe). |

Remember to Exit Catalyst when you are done! |

Follow These Steps |

Placing a recall means that the person who currently has the item is notified to bring it back, at which point it will be held for you.
Placing a hold means that the item will be held for you when it is returned, the person who currently has it checked out is not notified to return it before the due date.
You can place
recalls and holds
only on items
currently checked
out or renewed, and
items that show a
Location
of On Order.
To begin, click on the Catalyst selection on the Arthur Lakes Library web page. |
 | Search for the item you wish to hold/recall. |

Go to the item's record and then click on the
Recall or request button. |

Fill in your 8-digit
Campus-Wide ID and last name. |
 |
Choose the type of request you wish to make (Hold, Recall, etc.). |
 |
Verify that all information is correct, enter your Library Barcode in the Request Form, and then submit it. |
 |
Make sure your request is confirmed as successful after submitting it.
A recall may fail
for various reasons. If this is the case, contact Circulation.

To check the status of items you have recalled, use the Patron Info button to view your Library record.
The item will show up as a Pending Request.

Remember to Exit Catalyst when you are done! |

To request a book or a photocopy of a journal article through document delivery
using Catalyst, click on the
My Account button and enter your
8-digit
Campus-Wide ID and last name.
(Please note there are other ways to
make requests through
Document
Delivery). |

Next, from the Request drop-down menu, select the type of request you want to make -- either Book Request or Article Request. |
 |
Enter as much of the information on the form as you know. The more information the better! Form fields in bold text are required. Do not change the Pick Up At field, all document delivery pick-ups are at the Circulation Desk. |

Remember to Exit Catalyst when you are done! |
