The Library is located at the intersection of 14th and Illinois Streets in Golden, Colorado.

From I-70 westbound from Denver: Take exit 265 (Hwy 58); west on Hwy 58 to the Washington Street exit; left (south) on Washington to 14th Street; right (west) on 14th Street to Illinois Street. The Library is at the southwest corner of the intersection of 14th and Illinois.

From 6th Avenue/Hwy 6 westbound from Denver: Pass Indiana St., Colfax Ave., and the Jefferson county buildings; 6th turns north. Turn right (east) at 19th Street (there is a light at this intersection). Turn left (north) at the first light which is Illinois Street. The Library is at the southwest corner of the intersection of 14th and Illinois.

Parking: On-campus parking, including streets on campus, is restricted to CSM faculty, staff, and students holding current parking permits during the school year from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Visitor parking is available in a marked lot at the corner of 18th and Illinois (enter from 18th Street), and street parking is available in the neighborhood of campus, north of 13th Street and east of Cheyenne Street. Visitors with formal business on campus (i.e., a meeting) should contact their host department to arrange a temporary permit.

Reserved parking for visitors with handicapped tags is available in Lot S directly north of the library building (enter from Maple Street). The handicapped entrance is located at the southwest corner of the library.
