Find books

• Search the online catalog, Catalyst, for books, CSM theses and dissertations, journal titles, conference proceedings, and society publications at the CSM Library.

• Cannot make the trip the CSM Library, search Open WorldCat. Enter your location to see what books may be at a library near you.

• Doing in-depth research? Search INSPEC, NTIS, and/or Web of Science for citations and/or abstracts of articles, conference proceedings, and society publications. • HEPDATA: Reaction Data Database — Numerical values of HEP reaction data such as total and differential cross-sections, fragmentation functions, structure functions, and polarization measurements. Searchable by reaction, beat momentum, author, and more.
• The Lund/LBNL Nuclear Data Search — Table of Radioactive Isotopes searchable by radiation energy and nuclide mass number.
• National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Physics Laboratory — Measurement services and research for electronic, optical, and radiation technologies. Links to other physical properties and data of tangential interest to particle physics provided.

Eprints and preprints

• CERN Articles & Preprints — Citations and some full text of articles, preprints, theses, CERN Yellow reports, technical notes, Grey Books, and official committee documents held by the Library or the Archives.
• Fermilab Preprints (SPIRES) — Recently approved preprints and technical publications. All past (1970-present) Fermilab preprints, technical memos and physics notes are available over the Internet.
• HEP Database (SPIRES) — Search physics related articles, including journal papers, preprints, eprints, technical reports, conference papers and theses from 1974 to the present.
• ICMP Preprints Online — Electronic archive for research papers in Mathematical Physics and related areas.
• KISS (KEK Information Service System) for Preprints — Search preprints and technical reports at the KEK library includes full text images.
• arXiv.org — Electronic archive and distribution server for research papers from 1991 to the present. Covers physics and related disciplines (i.e., mathematics, nonlinear sciences, computational linguistics, and neuroscience).

• PPF: Preprints in Particles and Fields — Recent high-energy physics preprints arranged by institutions (as represented by report numbers). Abstracts can be viewed for eprints (papers obtained from electronic archives).
