The focus of this two-day course is current Industrial Hygiene practices. The participant will receive a detailed insight into this scientific field with emphasis on the latest dust control technology. The participant will learn terminology, basic IH calculations, and do limited "field work" (i.e., pump calibration and sampling).
The second day will be devoted to dust management, sources, control concepts, and ventilation design recommendations.
The main emphasis of this course is dust management and is designed for persons in the mining industry, power plants, cement plants, and steel mills.
