Electrical Retraining

This course is temporarily suspended while the curriculum is under revision.

30 CFR Parts 75.153 and 77.103 require annual retraining to maintain MSHA-approved certification to do electrical work on coal mine property. The content of the course will also prove beneficial to electrical personnel from non-coal mines.

The two-day course is designed to update currently qualified electrical personnel with trends in electrical accidents and violations, with Federal and industrial policy/regulation changes, and provides an introduction to new technology. The course will also cover completion of petition for modifications. The course will encompass continued certification for High Voltage, Surface and Underground requirements.
