Information
This international
conference brought together occupational and environmental
health professionals, dermatologists, laboratory scientists, and
policy-makers to focus on the science, knowledge gaps, future
challenges, and policy opportunities related to occupational and
environmental exposures of the skin to chemicals, with a special
emphasis on improved prevention of local and systemic injury and
disease caused by exposing skin to chemicals. Plenary lectures,oral
contributions, posters and short courses provided technical
information, and social events encouraged informal communication.

Certificate Maintenance (CM) Credits for Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH)
The American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) awarded 3.0 certification maintenance (CM) credits to each Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) who attended the entire conference. The approval number is 07-1102. Contact Jennifer Sahmel (JSahmel@ChemRisk.com) for more information.

In addition to the plenary sessions and short courses, almost 90 extended abstracts were presented as posters on a wide variety of topics. Poster abstracts are published here and were distributed in a bound volume of proceedings at the Conference. Several authors of posters introduced their posters briefly during Plenary Sessions and authors were available to answer questions during several Poster Sessions. in Golden, Colorado, U.S.A. Golden is located at the foot
of Lookout Mountain, 15 miles west of downtown Denver, on
the majestic Front Range of the Colorado Rockies. |
