Financial Support for Students and Selected International Contributors

The Symposium technical team anticipates sponsorship contributions from a number of organizations involved in the development of oil shale.  A portion of these contributions will be allocated to provide support to students enrolled in a relevant program, so that they may attend the symposium.

International visitors, especially from developing countries, may also request support to attend the Symposium.  Except in unusual circumstances, visitors will be expected to provide matching funds so that more contributors can be included.  Preference will be given to those who are presenting a paper or poster, and also to those who have not been supported in the past.
