Thesis Title: Simulation of Advanced High Strength Sheet Steel Production Using a Gleeble System

Grant

Grant Thomas, an M.S. candidate, makes final adjustments before simulating hot-rolling of and advanced high strength sheet steel using the Gleeble 1500 thermomechanical simulator.  The transformation behavior and mechanical properties of dual phase, TRIP, and quenched and partitioned steels are being assessed through the use deformation and thermal processing simulations.
