CSMCoRE is administered by a decision review board (DRB) composed of two members plus a decision executive representing Chevron, and two members plus a decision executive representing Colorado School of Mines. Program managers and technical research project managers guide CSMCoRE activities and reports to the DRB.
The DRB determines the relevance of proposed projects, approves potential research partners, procures appropriate project funding, and captures and disseminates research results. In addition, the board monitors student-sponsored programs. Projects are chosen to advance knowledge or technology in areas of the petroleum industry of interest to project partners.
