Current Research at CHR:

I study the attractive forces between hydrate particles. Using the micromechanical apparatus, I have measured the particle-particle adhesion forces between cyclopentane and tetrahydrofuran hydrates (both SII hydrates). In the near future, I plan to study a SI hydrate to compare the particle-particle adhesion forces in SI and SII hydrate particles.
