Description.

CIFER operates an EPA and CARB certification quality heavy-duty engine and vehicle emmisions measurement laboratory located at a local RTD facility. The laboratory includes a heavy-duty engine dynamometer and a heavy-duty vehicle chassis dynamometer. This laboratory is the only one of its kind in the world located at high altitude. CIFER also operates or is associated with numerous on campus facilities, including combustion and catalysis laboratories.
