Benefits

• $4500 per year honorarium.
• Option of earning continuing education credits at CSM (for an additional cost).
• Earn continuing education credits at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM).
• A CSM Graduate student (Ph.D. candidate) providing direct classroom assistance throughout the academic year.
• Option of earning continuing education credits at CSM (for an additional cost).

Time Commitment

• Three summer workshops will be provided in the years 2007, 2008, and 2009. This year's workshop begins on July 23 and ends on July 31. All project participants are required to attend this workshop. During this workshop, you will work directly with graduate teaching fellows at the Colorado School of Mines.
• Throughout the academic year, you will mentor a graduate teaching fellow in the classroom for a total of 10-15 hours per week ("model 1") or for a total of 5-7 hours per week ("model 2")
• Throughout the academic year, you will meet with your graduate teaching fellow to provide them guidance in the teaching process and to jointly plan classroom instruction.
