It also provides research findings on first-year seminars and a comprehensive reading list for those involved in first-year seminars.

Adviser, Teacher, Role Model, Friend: On Being a Mentor to Students in Science and Engineering

  • This site is a full-text version of a published book by the same title. It is "intended for faculty members, teachers, administrators and others who advise and mentor students of science and engineering" and summarizes those "features that are common to successful mentoring relationships."
