CSM Parent Orientation

and New Student Orientation

PARENT ORIENTATION

Parent Orientation is a one-day orientation program for parents only (no students!) that will help you to become more familiar with CSM, offer valuable information, and also assist you in transitioning your student to college life.

During Orientation you will meet with faculty members and returning students, learn about the various programs offered by the college, and obtain information on valuable resources. You may also take a campus tour and/or attend a session on Residence Life. The faculty, staff, and student orientation leaders will be available and make every effort to answer your questions and familiarize you with the campus.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

New Student Orientation is a mandatory program for students only (no parents!) which will ease you into college life here at Mines! This three-day program will help you to become acquainted with the Mines campus and community.

DATES

Parent Orientation will be offered on the following dates.

Session #1 - Monday, July 14
Session #2 - Friday, July 18
Session #3 - Monday, July 21
Session #4 - Saturday, August 16**

**Reserved for out-of-state/non front-range families.

New Student Orientation will be held August 16-18th.
