Cardboard Canoe Race
What do you get when you take a bunch of useless cardboard, many rolls of duct-tape, and some very creative engineers? The 7th Annual E-Days Cardboard Canoe Race! Every year, teams come together and build cardboard boats to challenge the waters of Clear Creek.
Your Mission: Build a raft out of nothing but cardboard, duct tape, twine, blood, sweat and tears... Well maybe just the tape, rope, and cardboard. Christen your craft in the icy waters of Clear Creek fresh from the spring thaw, and just pray that you don't go down with the ship. It's a race to the finish and a competition for best-built boat.
Do you think you have what it takes to brave the ice-cold waters of Clear Creek in nothing but a cardboard boat? If so, grab a couple of friends, start building and join us where Liberty Park connects to Clear Creek on Saturday March 31st at 10:30 AM.
