COMMENCEMENT TICKET INFORMATION

Due to the high number of graduating students participating in the ceremony this semester, each will receive just 3 tickets. There will be a few tickets available that could not be divided evenly and also from students who either drop from the ceremony or return unused tickets, and those tickets can be requested at check-in that morning giving you another chance to receive more tickets. Keep in mind, there are extra chairs placed for those without tickets at the outside ceremony, and tickets simply mean those with them are seated first. Others without tickets will be able to take their seats at approximately one-half hour before the ceremony starts. Please understand, while May Commencement is usually held on Kafadar Commons, tickets are required if weather is inclement and Commencement is held in CSM Recreation Center. A decision regarding weather and movement of the ceremony will be made the Wednesday morning before Commencement, and you will be notified via email giving you time to inform your guests without tickets who plan to attend. No email means the ceremony stays outside...

• Students who need only part of their initial allotment number of tickets should either give the unneeded tickets to a fellow graduating student, or turn them back into the Dean's Office to be distributed as extra tickets.
• Please turn in tickets at check-in the morning of Commencement if someone in your party is not able to attend - others may be able to use them.

Tickets are never to be sold! Admission to the ceremony is free of charge and is for the families of graduating students.
