I am a Junior in the Petroleum Engineering department at Mines. I’m from Malaysia and I’ve been in United States since August 2003. Personally, I think Mines is the right place to be to get good college education in order to prepare myself for my future career. I would be more than happy to share my Mines experiences with any prospective students who need some information about student life at Mines. I’ve been with the International Student Council for two years and I had so much fun conducting one of the biggest events at Mines, the International Day, during my Freshmen and Sophomore years. I appreciate the differences that exist among the Mines community and I’m glad with my decision to be at this school instead of other colleges that I applied to in Texas and Pennsylvania.
