Mercury made a transit across the sun on November 15. We projected the sun's image onto paper and observed Mercury's resulting shadow on the projection. This shadow was barely visible to us in person, and it cannot really be seen on the photographs of the projections, but they are still fun to see. Jason Versley took the pictures with his camera.
