Mobile, bicycle-powered water pump in rural Ghana
Goal: Improve and redistribute a bicycle-powered water pump system to farmers in rural Ghana. Description: In collaboration with a former senior design team from Mines, EBW is taking their efforts and sustaining them through continuation of the bicycle-powered water pump system. Using blueprints and advice and connections from the senior design team, EBW is working to improve the pump design. Also, the club is working to maintain a relationship with representatives in Ghana and send some EBW students to the West African country to strengthen these ties.
