The primary objective of a college institution is to provide a foundation for success in life's later endeavors. The Greek organizations at CSM recognize the need for, and emphasize the acquisition of, academic competence as well as social interaction and leadership skills. These are three major components of success. Greek organizations provide an instantaneous support network that substantially curbs the transition period from high school to college. From social events and philanthropic endeavors to Intramural athletics, the CSM Greek community sets the stage for an individual to excel via a team effort. Whether you think that the Greek life is or is not for you, the challenge is now put before you to confirm or deny you initial opinions by looking at the Greek community at CSM with an open mind. The doors of each organization are always open and the men and women there are always proud to answer questions put to them about their Greek experience.
IFC
The InterFraternity Council of CSM acts as a governing body upholding the standards set by the Greek Community. We are a member of the Mid-America Greek Conference (MGCA). With the assistance of delegates from each chapter, IFC is an organization that is actively involved with programming, intra-murals, and recruitment at CSM, as well as other fraternity systems in our region.
