2008 Coaching Staff
Dan Hunter- Head Coach- Dan Hunter is in his forth season acting as head coach for Colorado School of Mines. His Lacrosse knowledge is based on fundamentals, commitment, and passion. He played Lacrosse back in High School and has played for the past four years on indoor and outdoor men's leagues. Dan is currently going to Metro State College to recieve his College Degree while also maintaining a career. In 2006, he recieved the RMLC Division B's Coach of the Year Award. He has a wife and two kids who come to every home game and really help out the team's moral. Robert Applegate- Assistant Coach- Rob "Par" Applegate is in his third season of coaching for the Colorado School of Mines. Growing up northwest of Chicago, he only started playing lax his sophmore year at Mines from 2001-2004. He just earned his PhD at the Colorado School of Mines and is a Research Assistant at the GRL. His wife, Natalie, just had their first child, Christopher, who was born on Feb. 24, 2007. He already loves the sport of lacrosse and is already able to craddle one handed and his shot clocks in at 35mph.
