Welcome to the CSM Student Development site! We hope you find this information to be a helpful overview of the services and resources available for students, parents and faculty.

The professional staff at Student Development are committed to assisting students in defining and achieving success during their time at Mines. As students encounter the challenges and decisions points inherent in the college experience, this office can help in many ways:

In addition to the above personalized services, Student Development also sponsors online screening for such problems as depression, anxiety, alcohol problems and eating disorders. We have a resource library of over 350 books for checkout, in addition to brochures and handouts on a multitude of topics, such as healthy relationships, test anxiety, time management, communication and stress.

Student Development sponsors campus-wide events, such as Stress-Free Zones and Wellness Day.

Our services support the Five Dimensions of Wellness that we encourage students to develop and explore.
