How to Modify Internet Explorer or MS Windows XP "Trusted Sites"
For Internet Explorer:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on:
Tools | Internet Options | Security tab | Trusted Sites icon | Sites button
- Uncheck the "Require server verification..."box
- Enter "banner.mines.edu" into the box labled "Add this Web site to the zone:", click Add
- Repeat #3 for "trailhead.mines.edu"
- Click OK twice to close the configuration boxes
You may need to restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.
For MS Windows XP, Security Center:
- Open your Control Panel
- Click on:
Security Center | Internet Options | Security tab | Trusted Sites icon | Sites button
- Uncheck the "Require server verification..."box
- Enter "banner.mines.edu" into the box labled "Add this Web site to the zone:", click Add
- Repeat #4 for "trailhead.mines.edu"
- Click OK twice to close the configuration boxes
You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
