Course Description: This course is an introduction to communication in mathematics as well computational tools for mathematics. This writing intensive course provides a transition from the Calculus sequence to the upper-division mathematics curriculum at CSM. Topics include logic and recursion, techniques of mathematical proofs, reading and writing proofs, mathematics software.
