Accessibility at Mines
Colorado School of Mines is committed to providing equal access to university courses, programs and activities for students, faculty, staff and community members with a disability. In compliance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, university personnel work with qualified community members and guests to ensure equal access wherever and whenever possible.
Accessibility for Students
Disability Support Services (DSS) is the office to contact for students, parents, and faculty who seek information about disability accommodations for students, including documentation guidelines and types of accommodations available at Mines. Employees with accessibility or disability concerns (and managers looking to ensure access for employees, including student employees) should contact the ADA Coordinator, Craig Hess, in the Colorado School of Mines Human Resources Office.
