During the summer, Conferencing becomes one of the main focuses of the Campus Events Team. We help coordinate campus dining and housing for large groups on campus, along with any event spaces they may need. Campus Events is hiring several positions for the 2023 Summer, each with varying levels of time commitment and experience needed. These positions include Summer Assistants, with responsibilities like helping staff the front desks at various buildings around campus, assisting with meal times at Mines Market, and helping flip the Residence Halls between different conferences. Main Contacts, who will be assigned various confrence groups throughout the summer, and will be their main contact for all checkins/checkouts, mealtimes, and any other needs while on campus. And finally Lead Hosuing Assistants, who will help more on the administrative side of conferencing, including tasks like working on various conferencing softwares, managing key inventories for all Residence Halls, and also helping manage and supervise the Summer Assistants.
