Personal:
I have spent my entire life and career up to this point in Texas, and while it was hard to leave my home state behind, I’ll be thrilled to never endure a Texas summer again. I have worked in higher education for 15+ years, much of that at my alma mater the University of North Texas in various functional areas including housing and student affairs programming. In 2017, I ventured into the world of academic advising for the first time and never looked back. I am here to be your trusted guide as you complete your hero’s journey through the student experience at Mines on your way to graduation!
I am a self-avowed nerd and firmly believe that everyone geeks out about something. Among the many things I geek out about are Marvel, Star Wars, the works of John Green, comic book history, movies, sports (namely, the Green Bay Packers), metaphysical deliberations, and Halloween. I’m excited to be a part of the community at Mines and hope to serve as the advisor for the student who will one day become this universe’s Tony Stark.
