Personal:
I am originally from Los Angeles, California and have since found my way to Colorado my home for the past 3 years. Prior to this I was living in upstate New York pursuing my graduate degree in higher education at Syracuse University. I have always loved exploring new places and pushing myself to experience new things. Growing up, the importance of education was instilled in me by my family, and that carried me throughout my collegiate experience. Being a first-generation college student was a challenge, but along the way I created a community that helped support me. Now as a professional I take pride in providing that support for students as they pursue their aspirations.
I have truly loved working with students in many capacities, and I am looking forward to my advising role here at Mines. I enjoy getting to know my students and providing them with the support they need. In my free time I enjoy exploring Colorado, playing disc golf with friends, and spending time with family. One thing to know is I am very into sneakers and music, feel free to stop by my office to see what the kicks of the day are or share a song/artist you are currently listening to.
