FIRST YEAR STUDENTS – Registration Advisement for Spring 2026

first year students Spring 2026 Group Advising

Attend group advising for helpful information to best prepare for upcoming registration. We encourage you to attend live if you are able! A recorded version of each session has been posted to the Canvas site. Click button to right to enter the Canvas.

Sessions are listed below.  Use the links at the top of the table to register.

STEP 1:

Register for and attend a virtual group advising.  Group advising will cover answers to many of the frequently asked questions that advisors receive and include helpful planning and degree-specific information for spring 2026 registration.

For those unable to attend live, recordings will be available on the Canvas page.

STEP 2:

Using Degree Works and the Academic Catalog, go through your degree plan and credits and look at courses required in throughout your sophomore year to see what prerequisites they require you to take in Spring 2026.  This will help inform you prior to attending group advising. You may think of some questions to ask during the session!

STEP 3:

Register for your classes.  Registration begins the week of November 17th. Registrar’s Office will email information on how to find your individual time ticket (the date and time when your registration opens). You can access this information in your Student Profile (Student Services card in Trailhead). Be sure that your term is set to Spring 2026 to see the correct fall registration time ticket!
