At 8:45am, Mines’ primary data center experienced an unexpected power outage, resulting in a temporary outage of all campus IT and communications services.  External network connectivity was restored by 9:15am, campus phone systems by 10:30am.  Campus email was restored at approximately 12:30pm.  Other services came online continuously through the morning and early afternoon, with nearly all services having been restored by 2:30pm. The cause of the outage is being investigated, but no further outages are expected.
