Student Safety

A Guide to Staying Safe and Keeping Up with your Studies (and Social Life) on Campus in Spring 2021

As we’ve learned from our experience during Fall 2020, keeping safe on campus—and off— isn’t rocket science. Follow the “Big Three” and you’ll be well on your way to protecting yourself and others.

  1. Wear a face mask.
  2. Keep at least six feet away from people not in your household.
  3. Stay home if sick.

We also know that it will take a shared commitment from each and every one of us to stop the spread of COVID-19 and stay together at Mines — even with an effective vaccine on the horizon. That’s why we’re all committing to The Oredigger Promise again in Spring 2021.

Click on the icons below for more informationincluding tips, tricks and hacks for making the best of, let’s face it, a less-than ideal situation. Looking for a list of spots on campus where commuter students can go to study (or log into a remote class) between in-person sessions? We’ve got it. Wondering how to get support if you’re feeling stressed or anxious? You’ve come to the right place. Need some packing tips for your COVID-era backpack? We’re on it.
