I have no idea how she does it — but she stays on top of the process and several steps ahead — so we as faculty are incredibly lucky to have ORA Staff like Lauren Kitchen. Dorie Chen, department manager in Geology and Geological Engineering, has done an amazing job this semester and over the summer keeping our department and our home, Berthoud Hall, safe. She has managed an array of issues in our building, including graduate student access, lab access, reconfiguring classrooms, and she done many other jobs that have kept our students, faculty, and staff safe.
