Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides mental health services to students and is staffed by licensed and experienced professionals skilled in handling a variety of presenting concerns. Services are designed to assist students in resolving issues that interfere with their ability to successfully navigate the Mines journey. Services are confidential, voluntary and covered by student fees. Staff can also provide programming and consultation regarding student concerns for the Mines campus community.

•Counseling Center Virtual Office Hours: Mondays & Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm
PERSONALIZED 1-on-1 SUPPORT with a therapist from the Counseling Center – ask a question about a friend, get support for your anxiety, troubleshoot sleep or schedule struggles, or just talk with someone to help you maintain your balance. Join this meeting: via zoom for a one-on-one brief consultation with one of our licensed counselors. Please review virtual office hours consent prior to attending.

•Schedule doesn’t align with Office Hours or prefer a phone call? Connect with a Mines counselor for a 15 minute supportive check in and receive resource options. Request a phone consultation.


•Virtual Mindful Mondays: Join us wherever you are Mondays @ 3:00 pm MST for an online guided mindfulness meditation to calm and quiet your mind.


AHP Live Care: Free online counseling with licensed counselors, available to ALL Mines students. Simply sign up following the step by step instructions below, review counselor profiles, schedule an appointment and continue ongoing sessions with the same provider.
